HOSPITALITY CONCEPTS

A stay with a story of its own.

Discuss your hospitality concept

The most compelling hospitality ideas begin with a clear sense of who the stay is for and what makes the place distinctive. WAA Brand Lab develops hotel, lodge and hospitality concepts that connect positioning, guest experience, spatial ideas and commercial thinking. We shape the whole proposition, from the first welcome to the experiences that give people a reason to stay longer.

WHAT WE CAN SHAPE

Build the experience around a clear idea.

A guest room is one part of a stay. Arrival, dining, wellness, shared spaces and the rhythm of the day all contribute to its character. We consider those elements together, using the landscape, local culture and audience needs to inform the concept. Our Sahl Hasheesh base brings a Red Sea perspective to the work, while each destination sets its own direction.

01

Hospitality positioning

Guest priorities, the role of the offer, its defining promise and the relationship between the accommodation and the wider destination.

02

Guest experience & programming

The sequence of arrival, retreat and gathering, alongside concepts for dining, wellness, culture, activities and special occasions.

03

Spatial storytelling

Guest-journey storyboards and concept visualisations that show how rooms, amenities and shared spaces could express the proposition.

04

Commercial concept

Qualitative revenue-stream narratives and complementary offers, considering how stays, day visits, programmes or products could belong to the same hospitality idea.

Make the concept useful beyond the presentation.

A clear hospitality concept gives the wider project team a reference for decisions. We connect the guest promise to the proposed spaces and services so the experience can be understood before the next stage of development. Naming, identity and communication can develop alongside that work, giving the concept a consistent voice and visual character.

THE APPROACH

A connected approach to the stay.

01

Define the guest

Understand the intended audience, location and ambition. Establish what the stay should offer and why it belongs in this place.

02

Shape the programme

Give accommodation, food, wellness and activities complementary roles within a coherent guest experience.

03

Explore the world

Develop storyboards and spatial concepts that make the atmosphere, daily rhythm and signature moments tangible.

04

Connect the business

Describe the commercial logic and brand extensions that support the concept, then organise the work for further development.

A FEW USEFUL QUESTIONS

Before we begin.

Do you consider the commercial model as well as the design?

Yes. We can explore how the proposed experiences form a coherent commercial offer. For Tanafus, that included a qualitative narrative for day visits, retreats, dining, products and other complementary streams. Concept proposals are distinct from operating results or investment forecasts.

Can the concept include dining, wellness and cultural experiences?

Yes. Those experiences can be central to the proposition. We consider their role in the guest journey and their connection to the setting, rather than adding a standard list of amenities to every project.

What stage should we involve WAA?

Early enough to help shape the proposition and programme. We can also join an existing project where the guest story or positioning needs to become clearer. The starting point and available material determine the right scope.
