The opportunity

Give yacht owners, captains, crews and leisure guests a clear understanding of the marina’s offer. Bring services, communication and arrival together so the brand works throughout the relationship, from first enquiry to everyday operation.

The idea

Create one recognisable point of connection for berthing, excursions and concierge support. Translate that promise into a consistent language, practical guest tools and a welcoming pavilion, with a clear direction for how the brand could extend across the marina.

WAA’s contribution

  • Audience and service positioning
  • Brand promise, messaging and tone of voice
  • Guest-journey and operational communication
  • Visual identity and bilingual guest collateral
  • Pavilion design intent and handover guidance
  • Wayfinding, merchandise and destination-extension concepts

STRATEGY IN PRACTICE

A service proposition, carried through the whole journey.

The strategic work connected who the marina serves, what it promises and how that promise is experienced. The resulting system reaches beyond outward-facing design into the tools that support the service.

01

One promise. Several audiences.

Yacht owners, captains, crews and guests have different needs. A shared marina-connection promise brings premium hospitality and practical support together without fragmenting the offer.

02

From discovery to daily operation

The journey links the brochure and first enquiry to berthing registration, marina rules and ongoing support. English and Arabic communications make the same service logic usable at each stage.

03

Operational clarity as brand behaviour

A warm, confident voice explains services without unnecessary technical language. The brand is expressed in how information is organised and understood, as well as how it looks.

04

A foundation for a wider place

The welcome pavilion, wayfinding and merchandise concepts extend the same identity into the environment. Further destination ideas were developed as extensions of that foundation, with implementation kept distinct from concept design.
